Outside Office Hours is a vibrant and inspiring channel dedicated to the simple yet profound act of getting outside! It serves first and foremost as a powerful reminder to step away from our screens, embrace the beauty of the natural world that surrounds us, and immerse ourselves in the wonders waiting just outside our doors. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll through a local park, an adventurous hike in the mountains, or a spontaneous picnic in the backyard, the essence of OOH is about exploring the world around you, learning something new, and savoring the fresh air alongside your friends, family, and beloved pets! This channel is not merely a collection of posts but a dynamic platform of encouragement and information sharing, designed to showcase breathtaking locations to explore all over the globe. We aim to offer you insights and helpful tips on every aspect of your outdoor adventures, from the best places to park your car, to understanding the potential costs associated with your trip, to gauging crowd sizes to ensure you can enjoy your experience to the fullest, and so much more!
Created by two brothers who find themselves in the daily grind of 9-5 desk jobs, Outside Office Hours is born from a deep-seated desire to discover ways to escape the confines of the office and embrace the great outdoors more frequently. Our experiences are relatable, drawn from the lives of everyday people who, like you, juggle responsibilities while yearning for adventure. While we may not be extreme athletes scaling the heights of Mount Everest or participating in (or even qualifying for) the Badwater 135 ultramarathon, we are passionate about making time to visit fascinating places, trying out new activities, and enjoying the experiences that nature has to offer. Our mission is simple: if we can inspire you, even once, to step outside a little extra on that one particularly stressful day, then we consider our mission accomplished. As you navigate the demands of your workday, filled with Teams calls and a flurry of emails, take a moment to pause and ask yourself, did you go outside today? It’s a small question that can have a significant impact on your well-being and perspective.
